TRANSPLAINING: HOW MALE VIOLENCE BECAME WOMEN'S BURDEN OF PROOF

It's nice to see some of the public reacting negatively to recent criticisms launched at JK Rowling by wealthy and privileged celebrity men. We already knew Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliff were unreasonably angry about Rowlings advocacy for women and girls, but now Stephen Fry, Pedro Pascal and Boy George have joined the hunt. These men have more than enough money between them to build some shelters of their own, but that isn't enough for them. They want to compel Rowling and women into submitting to the demands of male-born people. That is - they want us under the dark controls of patriarchy. It shouldn't be lost on anyone that all of them are men who insist it's men who know better than women, about the experiences and needs of females. We generally refer to this as mansplaining. There is an insidious misogyny that runs through this entire narrative, given the fact that women are not who rape and kill transwomen. The restitution is not ours, and yet we are commanded into position as soldiers in bathrooms, public showers, prison cells and rape shelters to guard and protect these male-born people from male violence, as though we aren't already victims ourselves. Even worse is the fact that studies are finally starting to show what women have always suspected - that there are violent and sexual predators among the trans community. Some of them may be using trans-identity as a vehicle for accessing vulnerable women and girls, but some are legitimately trans and violent.

Women are being asked to prove that men are violent, after thousands of years of femicide.

The gaslighting is intolerable.

Sarah Jane Baker is a prime example of a trans person who is violent. Having served 30 years for two violent offences against males, Baker's most recent crime was an act of lateral violence when he incited hatred towards TERFS (trans exclusionary radical feminists) and instructed his audience to "punch them in the fucking face."

Despite the organizers insistence that they do not condone violence, the Leeds counter-protest regarding transwomen in female prisons that took place on July 8, 2025 included pro-trans activists cheering for Sarah Jane Baker. Sarah Jane Baker has had tremendous support among the trans-lobby, despite inciting violence against women. This is the nature of trans-activism. A male killer, who now prances around in womanface, can incite violence against women to great applause and celebration, but JK Rowling wants to build a shelter for women and girls, thus receives death threats and calls for witch-burnings. We didn't hear Pedro Pascal, Boy George, Stephen Fry etc calling out trans-activisits for inciting violence against women. Let Women Speak events have been met with the same aggression and violence, with none of these men saying a word in the defence of women to have a platform from which to speak about our own rights, experiences and to make some demands of our own.

There is a disturbing willingness for society to blame women for male violence against the trans community, only because we have a strict mandate for keeping women and girls safe from male violence. Women are not who created this problem of male violence, nor did we create the tragic statistics of violence against the trans community. We are being asked to resolve it, to put our needs last and to accommodate and validate the feelings of full grown adult males, even if that means risking the safety of little girls.

The trans lobby needs to change direction, and go after men. Instead of vilifying a woman for building a safe refuge for women and girls, they can vilify the men who mansplain her while refusing to open their own wallets to help.

The trans lobby really needs to denounce the lateral violence being perpetrated against women, and address the damages being done by labelling us as TERFS. The TERF slur is designed to dehumanize women so we are easier to target, easier to push, silence and fire from our jobs. It even allows crowds of people to cheer and laugh when a murderer calls his followers to action - to punch a TERF in the fucking face.

Nobody has perfected mansplaining better than the trans lobby.
